The hotel has an enormous bathroom with an excellent hot tub and nice touches, but the beds are too small. The huge walk-in shower and bath are a great feature. The service was friendly, although some staff may need more training, but arrangements for room access were well-managed. The location is ideal for exploring North Devon, set in beautifully landscaped gardens. The dining experience lacked the promised hash brown, despite being included, and the pastries were delightful. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor flaws.
